Our Vision

“Recycle Red Lodge envisions a waste-free world, where the throw-away mentality of 'cheap' consumerism is replaced by a culture of closed-loop thinking and habits of use that take care of the Earth, our community, and each other. Our efforts support a future guided by ethical leadership and fueled by a populace that understands inherently that there is no magical place called “away,” for our waste. We are building a future where sustainable behavior is normal, easy, and expected. We seek to set the standard for what a no-waste community can be, and look forward to sharing what we learn with other communities.” ​
